Randy Nutt esta muy contento por la masiva inscripción en la carrera... Mientras nosotros nos damos cuenta de la cruda realidad.. solo hay 50 otros locos como nosotros....ahora la presión por no ser el último en llegar a la orilla se hace mas grande que la de tratar de figurar!!!

Dear Swimmers,

The 5th Annual Bonaire EcoSwim is just around the corner and we look forward to seeing all of you! Below are some details we would like to share:

Group Pre-Event Swims:
So that swimmers can introduce themselves to one another, we will have some informal group swims, and a meeting at the dock at Captain Don’s Habitat at 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 3rd and Friday, November 4th.

Pre- Race Meeting:
Remember, there is an important pre-race meeting on Friday evening. Below are some specifics:

Friday, November 4, 2005
4:30-5:30 PM: Mandatory
Check-in (pick up goodie bag and tee-shirt) at Captain Don’s Habitat Conference Room. (If the location changes, information will be available at the front desk at Captain Don’s Habitat by noon 11/4/05).
6:00 - 6:30 PM:
Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting at Captain Don’s Habitat Conference Meeting Room. (If the location changes, information will be available at the front desk of Captain Don’s Habitat by noon 11/04/05). The Event Courses and Rules will be discussed. This is a mandatory meeting, and any last minute updates will be announced during this meeting.
6:30 PM: Pre-Event Welcome dinner! (Location TBA at pre race meeting)

10K Swimmers:
All details will be explained at the pre race meeting. Because of the high numbers this year (about 22 swimmers), we are looking at having roving kayaks and watercraft and several fixed boats with liquids available during the swim. Similar to the 5k, the swim will take place along the shoreline of Bonaire.
